About Arm Around

Our Organization

Arm Around is a non-profit organization that serves for a community of children whose parents have died or are disabled do the cevhicular accidents. Our mission is to provide equal experiences and opportunities to these children. We provide online tutoring sessions, offline mentoring sessions, and also organize trips to various landmarks across South Korea for the children to create memorable experiences.Our mission is to empower these children and ensure they feel loved and supported. We believe that every child deserves a chance to succeed, and we are committed in making that happen.

Korea Federation of Small Businesses for the Disabled - Guro-gu Council Sponsored 'Creative Art Contest' Award Ceremony

The Korea Disabled Small Business Association (Chairman Chung Byung-ho) held the "2024 Children with Dreams! Children with Dreams! Creative Art Competition" at the 23rd Hall of Lotte City Hotel Pearl on July 29, sponsored by the Guro-gu Council and the ARM AROUND Volunteer Group.


The Korea Disabled Small Business Association, which has supported children from disabled families and multicultural families by referring to them as children with dreams and children with dreams, has been conducting the "Korea History Walking Program" with the ARM ARROUND Volunteer Group for the past two years.

Starting with children who dream of traveling to Dokdo, the creative art competition, which was held as part of an event that immediately recognized our history and promoted patriotism by walking through DMZ tours, Haemieupseong Fortress, Ganghwa historical sites, and UNESCO Baekje ruins, gave awards and awards to 21 winners selected through fierce competition, cheering and encouraging children's dreams.

Jeon Gun-woo (Doshin Elementary School 3), who won the grand prize, received applause from everyone for his creative work that permeated the hearts of children from multicultural families by expressing the harmony between his mother's country, China, and South Korea with excellent colors.

Meanwhile, Jung Yoon-seo, head of the ARM AROUND volunteer group, who received a commendation from the Guro-gu Council for planning and sponsorship of the event, once again realized the importance of a society that dreams together through a creative art competition, and said he hopes more people will pay attention to the weak in society.

We are also proud to be part of the NGO Small Grants Program with the United States Embassy in South Korea

The Arm Around foundation has also received a commendation award from the Guro, Seoul district for our work in helping children with parents who have either lost their lives or are disabled due to vehicular accidents.
